产品介绍

Propidium Iodide（碘化丙啶，PI）是一种核酸荧光染料，可用于哺乳动物、细菌、酵母的染色。它不能透过活细胞膜，但能够透过死细胞和凋亡中晚期细胞的细胞膜而使细胞核染色。因此，PI作为荧光探针常用于细胞凋亡（apoptosis）或细胞坏死（necrosis）的检测。进入细胞后，PI与DNA和RNA结合，荧光强度增强20-30倍。在流式细胞分析中，PI常与其他染料如 Calcein-AM、Hoechst 33258或Hoechst 33342联合使用，来区分凋亡早晚期细胞以及死细胞。此外，PI也常作为多色荧光染色的复染剂使用。
